About The Role

Our mission—to provide solutions for better living—guides us every day and reminds us of the positive impact our work has on the lives of tens of thousands of New Zealanders each year. We offer a comprehensive range of disability and rehabilitation equipment, housing modifications, and support services that empower people to live fuller, more independent lives.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Stores Person to join our warehouse team. This full-time role is based at our Airport Oaks, Auckland site and operates Monday to Friday .

This is not your classic stores role – you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing including receiving and processing inwards goods, ensuring accurate record keeping, booking stock into our computer-based inventory system, and reporting any stock variances, so your attention to detail is crucial.

An adaptable, flexible approach is key to your success in this role. You must be able to pivot between all requirements in our warehouse environment, so understanding the end-to-end process is important to be able to cover all duties. We’re a small team so demonstrating your collaboration and can-do attitude is key to success.

Some equipment may require assembly prior to storage or dispatch, so manual handling and lifting are part of the role . The successful candidate will therefore need to be physically fit and capable of safely lifting heavy weights.

Additional responsibilities include

  • Preparing goods and documentation for dispatch and delivery.
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This may include assisting the logistics team with deliveries and set up of equipment in client’s homes when required, particularly during periods of short staffing.
  • Understanding and managing internal stock movements between departments.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team where you can build on your warehouse experience, with opportunities to broaden your skills and move into to other areas of the organisation.

What you will bring

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good computer literacy – comfortable with learning new computer software, exposure to Microsoft Office and CRM/Warehousing software preferred
  • Proven experience in a warehouse environment
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with a diverse range of people
  • Good level of fitness and ability to lift/handle heavy equipment & goods
  • A patient and empathetic manner — our clients are navigating real challenges, and your calm presence matters in their homes
  • A full, clean NZ driver's licence

Why Accessable?

You'll be part of a team culture that is collaborative, supportive, and values real impact – you’ll finish each day knowing your work and contributions matter.

We offer a safe, welcoming, and inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and lived experience . If you’re someone who brings energy, integrity, and a drive to make a difference — we want to hear from you.

Please note

  • You must have the right to work in New Zealand and be willing to undergo a Criminal History Check.
  • Overseas applications will not be considered.
