About The Role

We are hiring a Classroom Teacher in our Infant wing. This nurturing role focuses on the needs and development of infants from six weeks to fifteen months of age. This role requires a creative, positive, and compassionate team player who is focused on providing top-notch child care and collaborating with likeminded teachers.
What You'll Do
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging infant classroom that promotes healthy development and secure attachments.
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and sensory learning experiences aligned with Massachusetts Early Learning Guidelines.
- Foster each infant's cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development through responsive caregiving and play-based learning.
- Build trusting relationships with families by providing daily communication regarding routines, milestones, and developmental progress.
- Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleeping, and care schedules while maintaining each child's comfort and well-being.
- Observe, document, and support children's developmental milestones and individual learning goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom while following all health and safety procedures.
- Ensure active supervision and maintain required teacher-to-child ratios at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to create a positive, supportive team environment.
- Maintain compliance with all Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- CDA, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center, daycare, or early childhood education program.
- Strong understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and coworkers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced childcare environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day, including sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, and participating in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Full-time availability between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm.
