About The Role

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript
Take ownership of features and projects from design through implementation, testing, and deployment
Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions for revenue and reporting systems
Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and developers to deliver reliable software
Design and optimize database queries and data models
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve complex technical challenges
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Ensure smooth handoffs to QA by delivering well-tested, production-ready code
Communicate proactively with distributed team members and work independently in a remote environment
Contribute to backend architecture and scalability improvements
5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript with deep backend expertise
Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Experience using ORMs, preferably Prisma
Understanding of software architecture principles and scalability strategies
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Familiarity with CI/CD practices
Strong ownership mindset with ability to independently drive projects end-to-end
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in distributed remote teams
Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
